I rarely post FOTD shots, unless it’s with a product review. But I ended up liking this shot more that I expected to… and since I owe the world (if you’re still hanging around these parts) a blog update or ten, I’ve decided to pull a quick one on ya.

Had a busy Saturday, for a change. I went to the Project Vanity Event in Beauty Bar BGC in the afternoon (will post about this later) and ran to Eastwood to watch the 7:40pm showing of OZ The Great and Powerful (decent movie, fairly entertaining).
Since I already had a nice camera, I thought I’d do a quick outfit post. I have my student / pseudo photographer – MK (click on the name to check out his blog) – to thank for the photos!

I haven’t posted FOTDs since.. what, my birthday week, I think. I thought I’d post one right now.
This FOTD is particularly interesting because I’m currently being plagued by the flu. I’ve been trying to get rid of it for days now. Truthfully, I hated how I looked yesterday; washed out, my eyes were puffy and watery, my dark circles were hideous.
You know what? Being sick isn’t an excuse to look crappy.
Let’s dissect the look, shall we?

I attended the FitFlop AW 2011 Launch yesterday at Greenbelt 5.
I went straight to the event when I got off work; EDSA traffic is (and will always be) notorious. Heh. Here’s what I wore:

yay!
So sorry for the lack of posts for Days 5 and 6. I had to call in sick, hence no FOTDs – except my zombie face, that is. Luckily, I was feeling a little better by Day 6; enough to meet a few people and go out for a pre-birthday dinner. Sad thing is, I forgot to take a picture. Sigh. But for reference, I was planning on Day 6 to be the Villain look.
Anyway.
To anybody who knows me well, there were three things that I really wanted for my birthday: NARS Sheer Glow, UD Naked Palette and NARS Schiap.
I got myself the palette and the lipstick; that should satiate my cravings for now.
For my final Bday FOTD, it’s one of the easiest to do and I’ve had a lot of people compliment the look (not just because it’s my birthday hahaha). Day 7: “Barbie”.

No black. Wow. Anyway, the semi-matte Schiap really pops out and stays put even after I’ve eaten a LOT of sushi for my birthday dinner.
